Patients can self refer to the unit or can be referred by their alcohol or drug worker.
The unit has full medical support in the form of a resident doctor, a nursing team and a Consultant.
Each patient has their own one to one counsellor.
The unit is situated in peaceful rural surroundings and confidentiality is assured.
