Most places will become dry overnight, but western coasts and the hills of Britain and Ireland will stay damp and murky.

It will be mild and the wind will ease across all areas.

Thursday will be largely dry, but light rain or drizzle will affect western Scotland, northwest England, Wales and western Ireland at times, with fog on the hills.

It will turn very mild, despite being rather overcast.

Where the cloud does break across eastern Britain, temperatures could reach 17 degrees Celsius (63F).
