Now this is the difficult bit! I'd love to say that I'd travelled across the world and done all manner of amazing things but I haven't, because I'm just an ordinary guy with a wife and 2 expensive children to maintain. This explains the grey hair at such an early age, and the hound dog expression that is stuck on my face.
I'm also surprised that my skin complexion isn't pasty-white as I've spent far too many hours over the years in dark radio studios doing what I love – presenting radio programmes, in case you were still wondering!
I've worked out that I've been presenting a weekly programme somewhere or other, on some form of broadcasting system since the year of the Charles and Diana wedding. There, you work it out!
Let's just say it's a long time ago and something that hasn't as yet been recognised with an honour from the Queen but I'm ever hopefully and still wait for the official Whitehall envelope to come thudding through the letterbox. Just a little badge would be nice, you know, but Sir Neil does have a certain ring about it!
Away from the Dune 107.9 studios I love the occasional drink, battling with my addiction to chocolate biscuits and seeing just how quick the children can spend my money every month.
