About Martin
Martin Hovden writes the Live Sounds column in the Champion series newspapers. He champions local bands and has interviewed, seen or reviewed nearly 500 bands in the Sefton/West Lancashire area in the past four years. He is delighted Live Sounds is coming to Dune 107.9 and looks forward to sharing his enthusiasm for the local live music scene with Dune 107.9 listeners. Rock on!
About Arthur (Co-Host)
Arthur McBain is a member of West Lancs rap-rock band YBG. He's currently studying for his A-levels and told Martin he was considering a future career in the media. Martin, although young at heart but not in years, was keen to have a young person's view of the local unsigned scene so invited Arthur to be his co-presenter. Martin has banned Arthur from saying cool, wicked or awesome during the show.
