Born many moons ago, under the name of Andreas Maurizio Wroblewski.
Mum was Italian and Dad polish, they met in Italy, threw a dart at a map of the world, it landed on Liverpool, so it's their fault, bless 'em that I am here today.
I started my radio career as a kid, took my dad's valve radio apart to see how it worked, he went ballistic, but as a result he bought me my own transistor radio and tape-recorder, there I was pretending to be a young radio DJ, in the privacy of ourjunk room. I took my radio to school every day,sneaking a listen to Radio Caroline,
I eventually becamea 'tea and coffee lad' anda 'go to the chippy lad' for a radio station in Liverpool in 1987- ah they were the days of 45rpm vinyl and tape decks ...
