Dave Turley

Born in Liverpool, I have always had a huge interest in Music and Radio. My own journey into media, as a career, started off with me working as a D.J in local clubs . Where I got to work with lots of big names and great club acts. All this fun and a day Job too.

Working as an Electrician, initially for a Southport based company, then off to Leyland Motors working at the (Leyland Assembly Plant), before working for a multi national German Company working as a Service Engineer.

As a hobby I  presented shows on Hospital Radio in Whiston then onto Radio Ormskirk General, where I regularly presented programmes and hosted community road shows to raise funds for the station. My first commercial radio break took me to Lancaster where i presented various shows. It was there I met Carol (from Turley Towers).

I had worked for a number of other stations before coming home to roost full time at Dune 107.9 on the 5th July 2002 after presenting the Weekend Breakfast Shows. I have presented the Mid-Morning show for around six years and have presented The evening show and Drivetime.

You can find me now back on  The Evening Show weekdays between 7.00pm and 10.00pm.
