Saturday July 31st
The members of Lancashire Animal Ambulance are a small group of people who give up their free time to rescue, rehabilitate and release wild animals back into the wild within the Lancashire area.
They will be bringing along a group of birds ranging from Owls to Hawks that have all been either hand reared or rescued as babies so that you can see them close up!
They offer a free service to rescue any injured wild animal found in Lancashire and have a fully equipped veterinary ambulance. Once an animal is rescued it is kept in an isolation aviary or holding pen whilst it recuperates. Additionally they have a hospital wing complete with intensive care unit.
It is a non-profit fund run by non-paid volunteers and rely purely on donations from the public.
