Well what can i say...erm..well my names Andy and i'm a local lad (good enough start)?

I've been one of the Dune team since 2004 (does that make me sound old)?

I studied Media at Runhsaw College in Leyland were i got my first ever radio show at the age of 17 on college radio. Whilst there i got offered a weeks work experience here at dune and the rest as they say is history.

At home i have two dogs and a cat. My house was once known as being like a zoo - maybe it was something to do with the fact that we had three dogs, a cat, six rabbits, four guinea pigs and three fish.

I love spending time in Southport whether it be in town having a nice meal or down on the seafront - its a brilliant place to be. I also enjoy going down to the end of the pier and having ago on the old penny amusement games....does that make me sound sad?

I love all kinds of music especially anything by Lionel Richie oh and my claim to fame was once seeing Jimmy Saville riding a bike on the Isle of Wight and also seeing former Lib Dem Leader Paddy Ashdown on the prom in Southport.

I always remember aswell going on the Lakeside Miniature Railway and going for walks around the marine lake - followed by a wander around Pleasureland and a go on the "caterpillar" ride...aaah things you remember as a kid!
